Night sweats: causes and remedies

AIDS, caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), is marked by several flu-like symptoms. Two to 12 weeks after being infected, patients may experience diarrhea, fever, headache, and night sweats. These symptoms may then disappear after several days, only to reappear periodically. In those who test positive for the disease, HIV is found in bodily fluids, including sweat. However, the amount of HIV in sweat is not significant enough to allow the virus to be transmitted to another human being this way.
